摘要 Disclosed are an aspect ratio adjustment method and an apparatus of a smart television, wherein the aspect ratio adjustment method comprises: identifying an aspect ratio of an input video source and a screen size of a display device; based on the aspect ratio of the video source, adjusting a picture of the video source proportionally, making a picture width of the video source be equal to a screen width of the display device; based on the aspect ratio of the video source and the screen width of the display device, obtaining a picture height of the video source after adjustment; and based on a screen height of the display device and the picture height of the video source after the adjustment, longitudinally adjusting the picture of the video source after the adjustment. The aspect ratio adjustment method and the apparatus of the smart television provided by the present application can automatically remove a horizontal black border of a play interface of a video in a screen, making an aspect ratio more suitable for watching. While a good watching effect is obtained, a user is exempted from a trouble of manual adjustment at the same time, simplifying a user operation.
