FIELD: communication.SUBSTANCE: this invention refers to transport communication. For this purpose, a communication element of intelligent transport system contains at least two road receiving-transmitting devices which are located at a distance from each other along one route, and one additional road transceiver, located on adjacent route. Each road receiving-transmitting device additionally contains at least one wireless interface of high-speed communication with similar road receiving-transmitting devices with formation of a through communication channel between them.EFFECT: technical result is simplified architecture infrastructure and communication links of transport communication system with the possibility of selecting the operating mode of road receiving-transmitting devices.1 cl, 1 dwg
