1. A method of treating a dissection in a vessel, the method comprising:
providing a medical cutting tool, the medical cutting tool comprising:
a catheter having an outer catheter tube, the outer catheter tube having a longitudinally extending lumen, and an inner member extending through the longitudinally extending lumen, a pair of tubular components extending from the inner member, and a cutting element disposed between the tubular components; placing the catheter within an arterial system; advancing the catheter through the arterial system to a location contacting the tissue wall with at least one of the pair of tubular components; engaging the cutting element with a septum between a false lumen and a true lumen of the vessel; and advancing the cutting element along the septum. |
