RECEIVER AND TRANSMITTER OF EMERGENCY PROMPT REPORT IN TERRESTRIAL DIGITAL TELEVISION BROADCAST, AND TRANSMISSION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiver waiting for a start signal of emergency prompt reports with low power consumption to receive the emergency prompt reports, and to provide a transmitter for transmitting the emergency prompt reports and a transmission system.

SOLUTION: The receiver includes: a TMCC extraction section 26 for extracting a TMCC carrier for conveying a TMCC signal; an AC extraction section 12 for extracting an AC carrier for conveying an AC signal; a diversity composite section 27 for performing analog addition to the TMCC and AC carriers; a frame synchronization detection section 14 for performing frame synchronization based on reference and synchronization signals of differential demodulation of an output signal by the diversity composite section 27; a start flag monitoring section 21 for monitoring the value of a flag according to the timing of a frame obtained by the frame synchronization detection section 14 to determine the presence or absence of the emergency prompt reports; and an AC information analysis section 3 for decoding telegram information when the start flag monitoring section 21 detects a flag value indicating that the flag is the emergency prompt report.
