Combination preparations for joint use in inducing birth or for the therapeutic termination of pregnancy contain oxytocin or an oxytocin analogue (Ox) and an antigestagen (AG) are claimed. Separate (pref. non-simultaneous) joint use of oxytocin or an oxytocin analogue and an antigestagen for inducing birth or for therapeutically terminating pregnancy is also claimed. Pref. prod. contain (A) 1-10 IO oxytocin per ml injection solution, 0.5-2 IU per ml infusion solution or 100-300 IU per buccal tablet and (B) 10-200 mg 11beta-(4-dimethylamino-phenyl) -17alpha-hydroxy -17beta-(3-hydroxypropyl)-13alpha-methyl-4,9(10) -gonadien-3-one or a biologically equivalent amt. of a different antigestagen per dosage unit.
