Plastics cover e.g. for loudspeaker used in vehicle

The loudspeaker cover is made of a plastics material and has a grid structure (14). The cover (10) has a grid structure with a flattened metal effect with plastic ribs (16,18) which cross each other at acute angles and which are equidistant. The diamond shaped perforation holes (20) defined by the plastic ribs (16,18) of the grid structure (14) have rounded corners (22). The cover (10) is formed of a plastic material which can be lacquered. The cover may be made of e.g. ABS or PPE. The ribs (16,18) may have a dividing surface which divides the plastic ribs into two sections.
