Tensiometer

The tensiometer, to measure the water or matrix potential of vegetation in wet ground or the atmosphere in an enclosed room, has a hollow fibre with a water-permeable wall. Alone, or in conjunction with an additional zone, it forms a measurement chamber which is filled with water or a watery polymer solution.
