The end-plate is made of plastics, a metal plate being inserted in it if desired. The tubes fit in bores in the plate, where they are enclosed by seals. The plate is made in two parts, the inner one (4) being of smaller diameter and thus movable in the casing. The outer part (5) is of larger diameter and forms a seal between the casing- and distribution chambers. The two parts are detachable from each other. The parts can contain the same number of bores, these being chamfered at the mating faces of the parts to accommodate joint rings.
