PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a security system for a portable communication equipment in which the use by a thief is limited when the communication equipment is stolen even while its lock means is unlocked. SOLUTION: An external communication equipment Z transmits a signal to a portable communication equipment having an automatic answering recording means, an operation section 9 to operate various functions such as 'dialing function' and 'telephone directory function' and a lock means/lock release means to set/release locking of the various functions to start the automatic answering recording means to make communication with the external communication equipment Z. The lock means is operated by remote control from the external communication equipment Z, when the automatic answering recording means is driven to communicate with other communication equipment Z. |
