摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect fluctuation between the amounts of EGR gas to be sucked into cylinders as well as to accurately detect the EGR amount regardless of pulsation. SOLUTION: A controller detects (a step 102) the crank angle position corresponding to the start of the intake stroke of respective cylinders, detects the intake pipe pressure VP and the new air amount VL during the intake stroke (No in the step 102), calculates (a step 107) the total intake amount QA from the intake pipe pressure VP, and calculates (a step 108) the EGR rate target value RT. In the finish of the intake stroke (Yes in the step 102), the integral value QN of the new air amount is calculated (a step 204), the EGR amount of the cylinder is calculated (a step 205) as the difference between the total intake amount QA and the integral value QN. An EGR valve is feedback- controlled so that the EGR amount may be the target value.
