<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide substantially non-expandable addition curing type silicone rubber compositions for fixing rolls which are good in moldability to a core metal and capable of producing fixing rolls having a silicone rubber layer excellent in toner releasability and mechanical strength, and fixing rolls obtained by using the same. SOLUTION: A liquid addition curing type silicone rubber composition for fixing rolls comprises (A) 100 pts.wt. organopolysiloxane having at least two alkenyl groups bonded to the silicone atom per molecule, (B) 1-30 pts.wt. organopolysiloxane having hydroxy groups at both molecular chain terminals, (C) an organohydrogenpolysiloxane having at least two hydrogens bonded to the silicon atom per molecule in such a manner that the amount of the silicon atom-bonded hydrogen atom in component (C) per alkenyl group in component (A) comes to 0.4-5.0 equivalent amounts, and (D) a catalytic amount of a platinum group metal compound. A fixing roll is obtained by curing this composition on the outer periphery of a core metal.</p> |
