<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus having an operation display part for switching to an ordinary mode in which key entry is realized by performing key operation once in the case of a screen where an operational mistake is not made and switching to a misoperation preventing mode in the case of a screen where the operational mistake is easily made. <P>SOLUTION: Since the mode of the image forming apparatus is switched to the ordinary mode and the misoperation preventing mode in accordance with the number of operation keys displayed on the switched screen in timing that the screen is switched, the ordinary mode is set in the case of the screen where the number of the operation keys is small, that is, the operational mistake is hardly caused, and the misoperation preventing mode is set in the case of the screen where the number of the operation keys is large, that is, the operational mistake is easily caused. Thus, such failure is eliminated that the misoperation preventing mode is not necessary for any screen though the operational mistake that the key entry is not realized unless the key is operated twice necessarily or the key entry is not realized unless the key is pressed for a long time in the conventional misoperation preventing mode is reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
