摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-magnetic mono-component development device which prevents toner from being supplied in an agglomerating state or in excessive amount and electrifies the toner sufficiently. <P>SOLUTION: The device includes: an image carrier (OPC belt 7) on which an electrostatic latent image is formed; a development roller 2 on which a mono-component toner layer (toner layer 6b) is formed and which comes into contact with the image carrier (OPC belt 7) to attach the toner of the toner layer 6b to the electrostatic latent image on the image carrier (OPC belt 7), thereby rendering the electrostatic latent image visible; and a toner supply device TPD which supplies the toner such that the toner on the development roller 2 is regulated in advance to the amount of toner necessary for the formation of a thin layer. The toner supply device TPD has a sieve (toner sieve plate 4) which uniformizes the particle size of the toner to be supplied to the development roller 2, and a stir member (toner conveying fin 5) which stirs the toner to be supplied onto the sieve (toner sieve plate 4). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
