摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the brightness of a display device by increasing the electron emission efficiency of a thin-film electron source. <P>SOLUTION: Electrons emitted in vacuum through a thin metal film, having a thickness not larger than 5nm, is irradiated to a oppositely disposed fluorescent body.
