<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary machine support structure wherein light weight and rationalization of an installation process are accomplished. <P>SOLUTION: A hollow-like side rail 11 extending in a longitudinal direction of a vehicle is formed by extrusion of aluminum alloy and a cross member 12, i.e., an aluminum alloy pipe is penetrated through the side rail 11 in a vehicle width direction to be welded to each other. A bracket 15 provided on an end surface of a tank 14 is fastened to a base 13 fixed to the cross member 12. Namely, light weight and rationalization of the installation process is accomplished while ensuring rigidity also utilizing the cross member 12, i.e., a constitution element of a chassis frame for support of the tank 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
