<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provided a working apparatus capable of properly working a material to be worked such as a laminated glass and a resin plate into a desired size and shape in accordance with the request of a customer. <P>SOLUTION: The working apparatus 10 has a plurality of heating units 12. In each of the heating units 12, the cross-section is formed into a part of ellipse and includes an ellipsoidal mirror 14 having a major axis of ellipse as the center axis. A linear heating source 18 is arranged at one focus (f1) of the ellipse in the inside of the ellipsoidal mirror 14. The ellipsoidal mirror 14 and the heating source 18 are covered with a housing 24 having an opening part. The heat radiated from a heating element of the heating source 18 is emitted from the opening part 26 of the plurality of the heating units 12 and the radiant heat is collected to another focus (f2) of the ellipse by the ellipsoidal mirror 14. In such a case, the plurality of the heating units 12 are arranged so that the heat ray from each heating unit 12 ranges on the same straight line to collect heat to heat a part P to be heated of the material W to be worked. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
