PURPOSE: An apparatus for preventing outflow of ferro alloy of feeder of weighing hopper is provided to prevent ferro alloy dropped to feeder of weighing hopper from flowing out through discharge port while weighing ferro alloy stored in storage hopper in the refining process of refining furnace. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a supporting shaft(18) rotationally installed by penetrating both side surfaces of weighing hopper(5); a balance weight(16) downwardly fixed perpendicularly to both ends of the supporting shaft(18); a rectangular plate shaped sliding plate(15) integrally fixed to the supporting shaft(18) and arranged directly under charging feeder(3) inside the weighing hopper(5); a reverse triangular slider(17) arranged at both outer sides of the weighing hopper(5) and integrally fixed to the supporting shaft(18); a sliding roll(22) installed in such a way that the sliding roll(22) is slid along the slider(17); a pair of wires(19) connected to the sliding roll(22) and arranged up to the upper part of discharge port(9) of a feeder(6) via a plurality of rotation rolls(24) fixed to the body of the weighing hopper(5); and a gate the upper part of which is connected to the wires(19), and which is vertically operated to selectively open or close the discharge port(9). |
