<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceiling system capable of preventing a panel mounting portion from being corroded by water dropping from a ceiling slab. <P>SOLUTION: This ceiling system includes a ceiling joist member 3 which is supported by a ceiling joist retainer member 4 suspended on the ceiling slab 1, and a ceiling panel 5 which is mounted in an inclined state on the downside of the ceiling joist member 3. The ceiling joist member 3 is equipped with a hollow body portion 8 having a top surface, both side surfaces and an undersurface; lower portions of both the side surfaces of the hollow body portion 8 are provided with draining portions 10 protruding downward, respectively; and a threaded hole 12 for mounting the ceiling panel by means of a screw 11 is provided in the central portion of the undersurface of the hollow body portion 8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
