PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a partition device in a storage rack being provided at the side end part of a shelf board or a joining part of adjoining shelf boards, having a high strength even though the partition member itself is lightweight, and having a high attachment strength to the shelf board in the partition device in the storage rack formed by mounting the both ends of the shelf board on the both brackets attached to locking holes of both supports erected at some interval apart or a joint part of a partition panel and attaching the partition member to the side end parts of the shelf board or the joining part of adjoining shelf boards. SOLUTION: A front leg 42 and a back leg 44 are formed by bending a belt-shaped material at folding lines formed perpendicular to its longitudinal direction, the back leg is engaged with the back end of the shelf board 7, and the front leg is engaged with the front end of the shelf board, so that the partition device is retained thereto. The lower end of the back leg is fixed with an engagement member 46, the engagement member is engaged with an engagement groove 26 provided at the rear edge of the shelf board, while the lower end of the front leg is fittedly inserted into a laterally-long retaining groove of a retaining member 15 fitted in an opening formed at a front corner part of the shelf board.
