PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support body and a pneumatic run flat tire further enhancing adhesion property of a leg part and a flange part. SOLUTION: A projection 29 is formed on a flange part 26D of the support body 16, and a through hole 27 is formed on the projection 29. Thereby, an adhesion area with a rubber G constituting a leg part 28 is increased, adhesion force is increased, and further the rubber G positioned at a surface side and a back surface side of the flange part 26D is communicated with the inside of the through hole 27 through the through hole 27 to be integrated. Therefore, the leg part 28 can fix the flange part 26D by the communication portion and adhesion force of the rubber G and the flange part 26D can be strengthened. By forming the projection 29 projected toward an inner side in a radial direction on the support body 16, it can receive lateral force (force along an axial direction) from the rubber G on a side surface of the projection 29. Therefore, shearing force generated between the rubber G at the inside of the through hole 27 and the rubber G at the outside is reduced, a crack is hardly generated on the rubber G, and durability of the support body 16 is enhanced.
