PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress load change of a main engine and improve fuel consumption in a ship propulsion system having a motor generator.SOLUTION: A ship propulsion system 100 is equipped with: power correction equipment 24 which calculates a power correction command value of a motor generator 3 so that generated electric power is reduced or electromotive force is increased when a vane angle command value of a variable pitch propeller 5 is changed in an increase direction, and calculates a power correction command value of the motor generator 3 so that generated electric power is increased or an electromotive force is decreased when a vane angle command value of the variable pitch propeller is changed in a decrease direction; and a motor generator controller 25 which controls the motor generator 3 according to the power correction command value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
