PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding device excellent in productivity and practical utility.SOLUTION: A molding device for producing a three-dimensional object by laminating molding materials, comprises: a layer formation unit for forming a layer which is a molding material for one layer, on a first intermediate carrier; a lamination unit comprising a second intermediate carrier which receives the layer and carrying and transporting the layer to a lamination position, and laminating means for laminating the layer which is transported by the second intermediate carrier on a three-dimensional object which is being produced; and a parting mechanism for switching contact/separation of the first intermediate carrier and the second intermediate carrier.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
