A checking method and system are used to check whether goods comprise alcohol. The method comprises steps of: obtaining a perspective image of a checked object (S21); processing the perspective image to obtain an area of interest (S22); and checking the area of interest by using an alcohol goods detection model, to determine whether the area of interest of the perspective image comprises alcohol goods (S23). The solutions can provide intelligent assistance for image determining personnel.
