PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power source system for an outboard motor which increases electric power transmitted thereby while inhibiting increase of a diameter of a transmission line.SOLUTION: A power source system 100 for an outboard motor includes: an engine 11 including a crank shaft 111; a power generator 12; a starter motor 17 for driving the engine 11; a converter 13 which converts alternating-current power output from the power generator 12 to direct-current power; an engine cover 112 covering the engine 1, the power generator 12, the starter motor 17, and the converter 13; a first terminal 18 which supplies the electric power converted by the converter 13 to the starter motor 17 and may supply electric power to an engine cover exterior part; and a second terminal 19 which is branched from a branch part 151 between the converter 13 and the starter motor 17 and may supply electric power to the engine cover exterior part at a voltage higher than a voltage of the first terminal 18.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
