摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an industrial robot which enables downsizing of a body part having a motor disposed therein even if the industrial robot can bring a first hand and a second hand into a closed state and an opened state.SOLUTION: In an industrial robot, a power transmission mechanism 30 for transmitting power of a motor 26 to a first hand 3 includes a gear 38, a gear 40, and a first rotary shaft to which the gear 40 is fixed. A power transmission mechanism 31 for transmitting power of the motor 26 to a second hand 4 includes a gear 48, a gear 50, and a second rotary shaft 49 to which the gear 50 is fixed. The gear 38 and the gear 48 are fixed to a common rotary shaft 34. The first rotary shaft and the second rotary shaft 49 are concentrically arranged. In the industrial robot, the gear 38 and the gear 40 are directly connected so that the gear 40 and the gear 50 rotate in directions opposite to each other.
