There has been interest in making conventional wearable devices more user-friendly. A wearable device 1 according to one embodiment can be worn on a head. The wearable device 1 is equipped with imaging units 40, 42 and a control unit 22. The imaging units 40, 42 capture images of the view to the front of the user. The control unit 22 detects an obstruction from the images captured by the imaging units 40, 42. The control unit 22 causes images to be obtained when the obstruction moves from inside the imaging range to outside the imaging range of the imaging units 40, 42.
