PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle controller capable of performing low fuel consumption travel support which is easily accepted by a driver.SOLUTION: A drive support device 1 generates a speed pattern which is a wave-shaped travel repeating accelerating travel and decelerating travel, and performs drive support based on the speed pattern. The drive support device 1 sets a driver acceleration range which is an acceleration range that a driver of the vehicle 2 can develop, on the basis of drive characteristic of the driver stored in a drive characteristic learning database 4 obtained by learning past drive history of the driver of the vehicle 2. Then, the drive support device 1 selects acceleration having excellent engine heat efficiency within the driver acceleration range, and generates a speed pattern by using the selected acceleration as acceleration when performing acceleration traveling. |
