PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt-type fixing apparatus which increases operation speed as much as possible only by adding a simple member without changing arrangement of a member in the fixing apparatus.SOLUTION: A belt-type fixing apparatus 28 of an image forming apparatus 1 includes: a fixing roller 29; a heating roller 32; and a rotating heat transfer belt 33 stretched on the fixing roller 29 and the heating roller 32, on a side in contact with an unfixed toner image. The fixing apparatus includes, on a side not in contact with the unfixed toner image: a pressure roller 34; a collar member 52 rotatably holding both ends of the pressure roller 34 and held by a device inner frame; a heat source 55 passing through the center of an inner space 54 of the pressure roller 34 and the collar member 52, and having both end shafts held by the device inner frame; a heat receiving unit 57 arranged in the inner space 54 in parallel with the heat source 55; a heat transfer unit 35 extending from the heat receiving unit 57, drawn to the outside of the collar member 52, and bent downward; and a preheating guide member 36 which is connected to both ends of the heat transfer unit 35, guides a sheet to be conveyed, and preheats the sheet. |
