<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a muscle-building agent which is excellent in safety, yields a highly transparent aqueous solution, has no restriction for its use in a product due to its low bitterness and includes a whey protein hydrolyzate effective in increasing muscle mass. <P>SOLUTION: The muscle-building agent includes the whey protein hydrolyzate which has a molecular weight distribution of ≤10 kDa with a main peak at 200 Da to 3 kDa, APL (average peptide length) of 2-8, free amino acid content of ≤20% based on the total amount of all constituents and an antigenicity corresponding to 1/100,000 of that of β-lactoglobulin. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
