摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface-coated cemented carbide cutting tool for exhibiting excellent abrasion resistance over long-term use, by restraining plastic deformation, in cutting work such as bead taking work by which a varying heavy load irregularly acts.SOLUTION: The surface-coated cemented carbide cutting tool is composed of a WC group cemented carbide including at least WC as a hard phase and including Co of 5-15 mass% as a binder phase forming component, and assuming an average solid solution W quantity solidly soluble in a binder phase in a depth area of 5 μm-200 μm from a surface of a tool base body as C, an average solid solution W quantity solidly soluble in the binder phase in an inside area of the depth of exceeding 200 μm as C, an average carbon quantity in a depth area of 5 μm-200 μm from the surface of the tool base body as Cand an average carbon quantity in an inside area of the depth of exceeding 200 μm as C, C, C, Cand C(mass% in any) respectively satisfy the relationship of C/C≥1.03 and C/C≤0.97.
