PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insulation wire in which wind load is reduced and visibility of emboss-display is improved.SOLUTION: An insulation wire comprises a conductor part and an insulation layer arranged to cover periphery of the conductor part. The insulation layer comprises a hill part arranged to project in radial direction and a valley part adjacently arranged to the hill part in circumferential direction and arranged to be recessed in radial direction. The hill part comprises a first projecting part arranged to project in radial direction rather center in circumferential direction, a second projecting part arranged on the opposite side of the first projecting part with an interposed center in circumferential direction of the hill part and arranged in radial direction rather center in circumferential direction of the hill part; and a recessed part arranged between the first projecting part and second projecting part adjacent to the interposed center in circumferential direction of the hill part and arranged to be recessed in radial direction. A plurality of hill parts and valley parts are periodically arranged in circumferential direction. Each of top parts of the first projecting part and second projecting part is formed in arced-shape when seen from axis direction and meet with formula (1) to (5).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
