PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that, in the case of simultaneous observation of a plurality of targets of which the data after signal processing have spreads in range directions and Doppler frequency directions (angles), cross points on respective spreads other than true targets are recognized as targets to lead to erroneous detection in prior arts.SOLUTION: In a target detection method, an amount of spread in a range direction is obtained, and the existence of a true target in the vicinity of the center of the spread is assumed to determine that a target being not in the vicinity of the center of the spread does not exist and is an erroneously detected target. Consequently, detection accuracy is improved. |
