摘要 A liquid crystal display device includes a first polarizing film, a first substrate, a liquid crystal layer, a second substrate and a second polarizing film. The first polarizing film has a first transmission axis. The first substrate has a first orientation parallel to the first transmission axis. The second substrate has a second orientation parallel to the first transmission axis. The second polarizing film has a second transmission axis perpendicular to the first transmission axis. An incident light from a backlight unit would sequentially pass the first polarizing film, the first substrate, the liquid crystal layer, the second substrate and the second polarizing film. The first substrate and the second substrate have multiple double-domain pixel electrodes. Therefore, the liquid crystal display device can achieve desired blackness in the case of without being applied with voltage, wide viewing angle, low color shift and vivid image quality.
