<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic price change collating system for collating the change of a merchandise price by an EPL(electronic price label) related with an EPL system. SOLUTION: A record related with an EPL is included in a storage medium. This record includes a price change time and a new price for each DPL. An EPL computer transmits a price change message including the new price of the EPL substantially at the same time as the price change time. The EPL computer reads the record, decides the price change time, obtains a price which is being displayed at present from the EPL, and compares the price which is being displayed with the new price for collating the display of the new price by the EPL.</p> |
