<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recovery system for non-volatile memory after a power outage. <P>SOLUTION: A non-volatile memory array can be recovered after the power outage. In one embodiment, pages of a memory array are scanned to find a first free page after the power outage.
