<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high pressure pump securing resistance against foreign matter of a plurality of pressure control valve. <P>SOLUTION: A housing body 11 includes a pressurizing chamber 14 pressurizing fuel by reciprocating motion of a plunger 31, a delivery passage 19 delivering high pressure fuel, and a return passage 20 providing communication between the delivery passage 19 and the pressurizing chamber 14. A relief valve 80 opens and closes the return passage 20 through abnormal high pressure. A constant residual pressure valve 90 disposed in the inside passage 821 of the relief valve needle 82 opens and closes the inside passage 821 under a remaining pressure. A filter 40 is disposed in the return passage 20 and the delivery passage 19 on a delivery port 74 side further than the relief valve, and captures the foreign matter in fuel flowing into the constant residual pressure valve 90 and the relief valve 80. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
