<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink, which addresses a problem of the development of head clogging of an inkjet printer and achieves good printing quality without causing any problem for its polishing function and to provide a method for production of a hand and foot nail care tool using the ink. <P>SOLUTION: An ink to be used for production of a nail care tool N is produced by adding 150-2,500 pts.wt. of an alkyd resin or solvent, 220-3,000 pts.wt. of toluene, tetrahydrofuran, or ethyl acetate, 50-2,500 pts.wt. of xylene or naphtha, 50-1,500 pts.wt. of methyl ethyl ketone, and 0-600 pts.wt. of an additive to 100 pts.wt. of a dye.
