METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR LINK PRICING

A method and system for finding a safe constraint range for link x belonging to a set of links of a network, wherein data of each link includes link's end nodes and constraint. The network could be a telecommunication network and a constraint could be a price of a telecommunication link. The method generally relates to link pricing methods which can be used, for example, evaluating total prices of paths consisting of links. The method is based on using shortest path algorithms and matrixes for finding the lower bound and the upper bound of a safe constraint range. The safe constraint range may relate link x or to a path which includes link x.
