According to the invention, a secure transport of the banknotes from a stacked position to the end cashpoint is possible, whereby the temporarily stored banknotes are placed on a support surface by the stack and said surface itself is transported to a position by the end cashpoint, such that the banknotes may be placed in the end cashpoint in this position.
