<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide image forming apparatus capable of sufficiently carrying out management of write of stored data to a memory card. <P>SOLUTION: Both a folder 201 and the memory card 400 store a combined ID resulting from combining an ID unique to the folder 201 and a personal identification code unique to an individual user, when both the combined IDs are coincident, data stored in the folder 201 are written in the memory card 400. The writing of the data stored in the folder 201 to the memory card 400 is carried out only when a host terminal 2000 connected via a network 3000 permits the write operation. The number of write times is counted on the basis of the personal identification code stored in a nonvolatile memory 1019, and when the number of write times exceeds a predetermined number of times, no writing is permitted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
