<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To offer a simple, reliable, and universal power supply system and a power supply method. <P>SOLUTION: This power supply system is equipped with a power unit which has a converter for converting input voltage into output, and a load device which has load to be supplied with power from the above converter and is capable of mounting on and removal from the above power unit.
