摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic control device of an automatic transmission, preventing the generation of a shock even when line pressure is applied to a frictional engagement element in shifting from the neutral state to a traveling gear step during traveling of a vehicle. SOLUTION: This hydraulic control device of an automatic transmission includes: two or more frictional engagement elements C1, C2, C3, B1, B2; and control parts 3, 4 for selecting the frictional engagement element to be supplied with oil pressure according to the engagement/disengagement and supplying oil pressure thereto. The control part includes: a calculating means 41 for calculating the output side rotational frequency of each frictional engagement element according to the information related to the output frequency from an output shaft rotational frequency sensor 15 in shifting from the neutral state to a traveling gear step; and a gear step select means 42 for selecting the gear step to supply the line pressure to the frictional engagement element having the minimum difference between the output side rotational frequency of each frictional engagement element calculated by the calculating means and the input side rotational frequency of the corresponding frictional engagement element.
