PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical resin lens exhibiting high durability such that the optical characteristic does not degrade even under irradiation with laser beams for long hours or with other light energy, and a method for manufacturing the optical resin lens. SOLUTION: This optical resin lens is obtained by subjecting a molded article obtained through a step of molding a resin composition first to a cooling treatment to below (Tg-70)°C, where Tg is the glass transition temperature of the resin, then to a heat treatment of at≥Tg and <300°C for≥1 s and <5 h.
