PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To materialize application to a damping valve provided in a damper suppressing vibration of a front wheel of a traveling motorcycle in an embodiment by enabling materialization of predetermined damping action by opening and closing a passage of working fluid, or narrowing and expanding the passage by a pipette member moving forward and backward. SOLUTION: The poppet member 11 opening and closing the flow passage of working fluid or narrowing and expanding a flow passage of working fluid moves backward to rear most position when the same moves forward and backward in an axial direction. Adhesion of the base end 11b of the poppet element 11 to a tip 14a of another part 14 when the base end 11b of the poppet element 11 is abutted on the tip 14a of another part 14 facing the base end 11b.
