FLAME RETARDANT POLY(ARYLENE ETHER)/POLYAMIDE COMPOSITION

A composition comprises a compatibilized poly(arylene ether)/polyamide blend, an optional electrically conductive filler, a phosphinate, and flame retardant augment selected from the group consisting of melamine polyphosphate, zinc borate, low melting glass, talc, and combinations of two or more of the foregoing flame retardant augments. Articles made from the composition are also described.
