PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grinder which is easy to extend an endless belt on the grinder when extending the rubber-made endless belt between a driving shaft and a driven shaft of the grinder for grinding a surface of the endless belt by a grinding material reciprocating on the driven shaft while rotating the endless belt by the driving shaft, can be automatically manipulated by switch operations except for mounting/dismounting the endless belt, and can accurately manufacture the endless belt with little wobbling during the grinding. SOLUTION: One of shaft ends of the driving shaft is cantilevered onto a pedestal by a press-fixing tool capable of fixing and releasing the driving shaft. The other end of the driving shaft can disengage from the pedestal. The driven shaft is fixed to the pedestal by a driven shaft fixing tool. The pedestal is moved between an endless belt mounting and working position before a grinding center position and a position for centering the grinding center and the driving shaft. A conical leading edge of the grinding center is pressed and fitted into the end of the driving shaft for rotating in a suspended state in the press-fixing tool of the driving shaft.
