PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage method for a radioactive biological waste, which eliminates a risk of spontaneous ignition and scattering of a radioactive substance by maintaining high airtightness over a long time, and enables the radioactive biological waste to be incinerated in the future.SOLUTION: The method for temporarily storing a pyrophoric radioactive biological waste 12 that contains the radioactive waste is configured in such a manner that an inner bag 11 formed of a flexible film is provided inside a steel drum 10, a radioactive biological waste 12 is stored inside the inner bag 11 that is in an inert gas atmosphere, and the inner bag 11 and the steel drum 10 are sealed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
