PURPOSE: A PLC(Programmable Logic Controller) memory module is provided to perform various supplementary functions, thereby increasing the convenience of a user. CONSTITUTION: A memory(140) stores data received from an external CPU module or a PADT(Programming And Debugging Tool), or data to transmit to the CPU module or the PADT. A communication unit(160) forms a data communication channel with the CPU module or the PADT. An operation mode setting unit(150) sets up an operation mode in the CPU module or a PADT related mode. A controller(120) operates corresponding to the selected operating mode.
