<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a white-light light-emitting diode (LED) that constantly emits a uniform white light. <P>SOLUTION: A semiconductor device includes a visible light emitting semiconductor, at least one transparent spacer having a radius and disposed such as to encapsulate the light emitting semiconductor, a layer including a fluorescent material disposed on top of the transparent spacer, and a lead frame connected to the light emitting semiconductor that supplies power to the light emitting semiconductor and enables the light emitting semiconductor to emit light. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
