PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel organic compound containing a ligand containing a boron-nitrogen heterocycle.SOLUTION: The compound contains a ligand L having a structure of the formula I, where A and B represent a 5-membered or 6-membered hydrogen ring or heterocycle, Xis selected from a group consisting of carbon and nitrogen, Xand Xare each independently selected from carbon, nitrogen and boron, B is a boron-nitrogen heterocycle, Rand Rrepresent mono, di, tri or tetra-substitution, Rand Rare each independently selected from a group consisting of hydrogen, alkyl, alkoxy, amino, alkenyl, alkynyl, arylkyl, aryl and heteroaryl and a ligand L is coordinated to a metal M having the atom number of more than 40. Especially the compound is a metal complex containing a ligand containing azaborine.
